Historic Camp Hurlburt is a children’s summer camp located on the shores of Point Cameron, on Lake Okanagan, 14 km southwest of the city of Vernon. The camp has been operational since l931. It is a 2 ½ acre lakeside site with a lovely beach and large wharf.

The site has five 10 bunk cabins, one 8 bunk cabin, 1 bed medics cabin*, 1 bed directors cabin*, 1-2 bed cook’s cabin*, toilet facilities with two shower stalls, a separate building housing three shower stalls, a dining/hall kitchen with fireplace and sitting area, washroom-laundry and walk-in cooler There is also a nice deck overlooking the water. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, dishes, cooking pots and utensils. The beach area has plenty of room for all activities and has a great campfire spot. The area and cabins are RUSTIC.

There is adequate parking for 4-6 self contained RV’s. Tenting possibilities are numerous. You require a single foamy or air mattress for each bunk and all your own linens/sleeping bags.

The camp is rented out from the end of April to October for family reunions and get togethers when not in summer camp session.
